Neurological-neurosurgical early rehabilitation

Patients who have recently suffered severe diseases of the central or peripheral nervous system, or a skull and brain injury, or have been in a coma are treated in our special intensive care unit for early neurological-neurosurgical rehabilitation. Our in-house ward has 30 beds with modern monitoring systems and eight respiratory units available.

24-hour care

Accidental brain injuries, brain haemorrhages and strokes are typical conditions treated here, but the ward also deals with severe acute damage to the peripheral nervous system or brain damage resulting from respiratory and circulatory arrest. Our patients typically have impaired consciousness, are artificially fed, need a tracheal tube, or even require artificial respiration. The nursing staff provides intensive 24-hour care. Using special treatments and therapies, we do everything within our power to deal with severely damaged functions and restore impaired consciousness.
